An innovative, accurate, and efficient Hybrid Element Method (HEM) has been developed for mid-frequency vibroacoustic analysis of non-uniform aerospace structures, including both metallic and composite configurations. This approach is based on the concept that by employing transcendental functions derived from the exact (or nearly exact) solutions of free wave equations and statistical phase functions as interpolation functions, mid-frequency issues can be addressed using finite element models. When integrated with low and high-frequency analysis tools, this methodology provides a unified framework for comprehensive frequency spectrum vibroacoustic analysis of aerospace systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while utilizing the same finite element database.
