Co-Founder and COO, XLDyn, LLC

Thomas Tecco is co-founder of XLDyn, LLC and an engineering software consultant. The XLDyn mission is to create intuitive and easy to use software for product development engineers using a systems-oriented methodology. Upon retirement from General Motors Tom was the Global IT Director of PLM/Systems Engineering strategy and CAT (Computer Aided Test).

His previous responsibility at GM was the Global IT Director of CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), CAT, ECS (Electrical and Control Systems), and KBE (Knowledge Based Engineering). Tom joined General Motors from MSC Software, where he was Vice President and General Manager of the Automotive Group with responsibility for worldwide MSC Automotive operations, including marketing, consulting, automotive application development and sales/support.

Prior to MSC, Tom was Vice President of Engineering and a Partner at Automated Analysis Corporation responsible for the engineering services and commercial software groups. At Navistar International he oversaw the Vehicle Dynamics and Noise & Vibration Groups. Tom received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trine University and Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University.
